Clear Tax-exempt 721 (Tax Returns)

Tax-exempt Clearance Steps
  1. Select a 721 (Tax Return) that has a Total = $0.00.
    1. Use the Ctrl key on your keyboard to select more than 1 721 (Tax Return).
      1. Note: These steps are designed for Tax-exempt 721 (Tax Returns).
  2. Click the button $ Clear selected.

  1. PLEASE DO NOT CLOSE THE WINDOW OR PAGE YOU HAVE OPEN.
    1. ExciseWeb is processing your request to Clear your Tax-exempt 721 (Tax Returns).
      1. Note: If you close this window or page during the processing of your 721 (Tax Returns) you will be required to wait 10 minutes before you can attempt the clearance process again.

  1. Once ExciseWeb has completed your request for Clearance, the Excise Document will be displayed
  2. The Excise Document consists of:
    1. The stamped and APPROVED 721 (Tax Return) for Customs Clearance
    2. The Virgin Islands Bureau of Internal Revenue online ExciseWeb Receipt

  1. Both the 721 (Tax Return) can be printed and/or saved for your records
  2. To Print or Save, place your mouse in the top portion of the Excise Document window
    1. Use the Printer or Download buttons to perform either function
    2. Once printed, you can proceed to Customs for Clearance
