Screen Resolution

This site was designed for best appearance with the common used screen resolution which is 1366x768 (as of 2015).
The minimum required browser resolution to submit 721 (Tax Return) is 1024 x 600 If you have the minimum resolution please also check you zoom settings to be at (100%).

Internet Requirements

A good, reliable high-speed (Broadband or DSL) or a strong Wi-Fi connection is absolutely required for best performance.   To check your internet connection speed, please visit www.speedtest.net and click “Begin Test” to see the quality of your connection speed.   Anything less than then minimal speeds listed below means you will most likely encounter either system delays or performance issues, especially if uploading large supporting documents for your Excise tax returns.

Minimal speeds:

  • Minimal Download – 4.0 Mbps
  • Minimal Upload      – 2.0 Mbps

If you find that your speeds do not meet the minimum requirements for our site, you should report your speed findings to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to confirm that you’re getting the speeds that you are paying for. Even with slow Internet speeds, you should still be able to use our site to submit your excise tax returns, however you may find it easier and faster to bring your paper supporting documents directly to the Excise office for review/scanning instead of trying to upload them via our site.

Firewall considerations:

Please make sure your firewall settings is not blocking AJAX or XMLHttpRequest connections from this site.
